How do I refill a prescription?

The easiest way is to refill online through our refill portal. You can also call (540) 439-3247 during pharmacy hours or stop by the counter in person.

How do I transfer my prescriptions to Remington Drug?

You can start a transfer online using the Transfer a prescription button at the top of any page. Prefer to do it by phone? Call our new-patient line at (540) 351-9705 and a team member will take a few details and reach out to your current pharmacy to move your prescriptions over.

Do you deliver prescriptions?

Yes. Delivery is free within town limits, and available up to 10 miles outside that for a fee. Prescriptions called in or refilled online by 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, are delivered that same day. See our delivery details.

What are your hours?

We’re open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We’re closed Saturday and Sunday.

Do I need an appointment for a vaccine?

Walk-ins are welcome during pharmacy hours, but calling ahead helps us minimize your wait time. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID.

Can you sync up my prescriptions to a single refill day?

Yes — that’s our Medication Synchronization program. We coordinate with you, your physician, and your insurance to bring your routine prescriptions onto the same monthly refill date. It’s free to enroll.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept most major prescription insurance plans. The simplest way to check yours is to call (540) 439-3247 with your insurance card handy — we’ll confirm in a couple of minutes.

Do you offer compounding?

For specific compounding requests, please call (540) 439-3247 and we can let you know what we’re able to do in-house and what we’d refer to a compounding partner.

How do I sign up for the Patient Portal?

Visit our Patient Portal page for the link and a QR code you can scan with your phone. The Portal lets you view your prescriptions, request refills, and message the pharmacy.

Is the children’s vitamin program really free?

Yes. Children ages 2 to 12 are eligible for a free 30-day supply of chewable multivitamins each month, one bottle per child. Stop by the pharmacy with your child to enroll. More about the program.

Can I drop off a water sample to be tested?

We sell mail-in water-testing kits in partnership with a state-certified lab. You pick up a kit at the pharmacy, collect a sample at home, mail it directly to the lab, and receive your results within about a week. More on water testing.
